So... I made business cards and had them ordered. I don't know if I'll actually use them. I do stuff like this all the time. I make things and then I'm too nervous to even hand them out. If I give some to Buck and my mom and sister, then they could hand them out for me. It makes it less scary! Right?
Anyway, you can buy 250 business cards for 3.99 at VistaPrint. An amazing price! They have all sorts of pre-made designs and templates. I ended up choosing the blank one and made my own design. There is no way I will ever be able to pass out 250 business cards, so I think it's a great deal.
The other thing that bothers me about taking pictures is location. I get so worried that the client won't like the location I've chosen. Or if it's my style and not theirs. So, I've figured out a way to help me feel more confident as well as my client. I have several locations that I like to use so I went out and took pictures of each location. I tried to take several of each so that you could really tell what the location was going to be like. Then I laminated them! Now when the client and I are deciding on a location, they can pick from my lamination's or give an option. Most people, when asked about location, will probably say whatever works. But if they can actually see their options, I'm almost positive they will have an opinion. It's really important that they get exactly what they want, and not what I want.
